Writing about the relationship between two countries and its hundreds of diverse peoples is a lot like examining a business for the purpose of determining its insurability. One has to look at a lot of different aspects of everything, and keep an open mind, to arrive at an honest and fair decision. It's a lot of responsibility for one individual, but somebody has to do it.

To those of you in both countries who actually like responsibility, and who actually expect to get paid well for exercising it productively: seek out inquiring minds. Encourage independent productivity in them, yourselves, and in others. Monitor and assess the results according to mutually-agreed goals tailored to the realities of the situation you are trying to improve. Reward and delegate accordingly. Above all else, check the premises and realities of your goals and assessments on a continuing basis. Again, proceed accordingly, and, if the job is worthy, get it done on time, and at a profit in your chosen material and spiritual coinages.
