Summitlake thanks our boosters ....

This website was originally put up on the Best.com server, from a Mac, on October 18, 1995. The appearance, content, client platform and a lot of the methodology has changed since then. The host server has been changed (or acquired) six times. It's still almost all HTML. The basic concept of this site was to feature the original written word on the web, and we're still committed to that. The following credits, largely unchanged, were first posted on November 25, 1995.

Special thanks to my friends at Poor Richard's (now LDResources) for encouragement and direction. In Sandra Silcot's work within Nisus Writer 4.12 I found more than a little help in splendid HTML examples. Thanks to Ted Wagner, for egging me on. And most of all, thanks to Bob for his enthusiasm, and for putting up with this project.

A heartfelt "thanks!" also to Al and members of the Peninsula Apple User Group who have been pioneering boosters and supporters of these pages. May we see more and more people communicating freely on the web!

For HTML help and guidelines, there are a profusion of excellent references on the Web. So many, in fact, that we've added an "HTML References" page.

In recent years, support and contributed material from readers and fans have helped Summitlake.com mature and broaden its scope. To Al, Dave and Gary in particular, our thanks and gratitude. To all of you who write in or post to YaBB, your extra input helps us keep the focus on our readers, not the search engines and site stats.

Regards,
