But, if you don't see this, if you think you can skate by on half-formed
approximations and slogans and predigested platforms, consider this:
the rights and perogatives you enjoy as a citizen will disappear
for future generations, or even for you, if you don't.
The real reason why you should do this is because it's in your
own self-interest to do it.

You probably don't need to be told this. The point is to convince
people to at least look at a broader point of view. You may understand
a lot of the points made here, may even agree with some of it, and
may disagree with either the aims or implementation of much of it.
You don't need to be told what to think here, or anywhere else.
The problem we face is a huge population
of people willing to accept at face value other's explanations and
rationalizations for deeds and events they know to be wrong.
If people weren't told what to think, and
didn't accept critical teachings uncritically, we wouldn't be having
