Orange Dream Cake

 

This recipe combines off-the-shelf ingredients in a way that goes beyond store-bought.

 

Ingredients:

from cake mix

Cake

1 box orange cake mix
1 small box orange jello
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cup water
1/2 cup orange juice

Frosting

Ingredients:

8 oz. cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup orange juice
1 large vanilla instant pudding
12 oz. Cool Whip

 

Beat all ingredients EXCEPT for orange juice together for 1 minute. Put into 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Cool, poke holes in cake & pour 1/2 cup orange juice over cake.

Blend (softened) cream cheese & sugar. Add add orange juice, pudding & Cool Whip. Keep in the fridge.
