Soften cheese with
a little cream or top milk, then spread on bottom of pastry
shell. Place 2 cups of the berries on top of cheese. Mash the
remaining 2 cups of berries and heat in a small saucepan; thicken
with cornstarch blended with sugar. Cook until clear, about
5 minutes.
Pour over berries in pastry shell. Chill well, and
before serving, decorate top with whipped cream.
