  29_Meadow.jpg - This photo was taken in Kings Canyon National Park, in July 1972. I found this unnamed but most welcome pond and meadow on the John Muir trail, a few miles northeast of Fin Dome, on a 7 day backpack trip of the circuit popularly called the "Rae Lakes Loop." The dramatic mountains in the far background are roughly to the west (the photo would have been taken mid-afternoon). The mountains might be part of the range including Mt. Clarence King, or north of Burro Pass.
