| Bears Xmas P0943 | Here are some of the fellers inspecting their stocking on Christmas morning. It's usually the little things that get remembered, like the scratch 'n sniff Lottery games and the little wad of bills donated to C.Bear's Bear Union treasury. In an apartment, economy of size is everything. The Christmas Tree is a live potted pine from last year, about 1' high, though I really think it's a spruce. It sits on a large carton from Crate & Barrel, containing gifts from friends of ours, which gets opened last (when there is room to move the Tree to the table). Most of the gifts this year are small and fun, like the Energizer Bunny flashlight. The big gifts were the new Sony digital camera, and the new roof-mounted air conditioner-heat exchange unit, both for Phoenix. At a certain point, you don't need a lot of "stuff". Having friends and loved ones is everything. | |
