Shown is a cloud cover resulting from a moderate and persistent monsoon storm. It is early in the season yet, and this weather system did not dump a great deal of moisture in our particular area. It did so, however, less than a hundred miles to the west, causing flash floods and significant damage. A companion photo P0000840 was used in the new story C.Bear and the Weather Gods, where you will find more details of the storm system and the Arizona Desert.
