  P844_Glads.jpg - It's amazing what apartment dwellers can grow in a small space with good soil and plenty of TCL. This is Bob's project. It started around April, late in the season, with several bags of potting soil and those rectangular platic planter boxes now sold in nursery departments everywhere. Bob dug in an impossible number of glad bulbs, lilies, and bedding plants of all kinds. We had instant color, but the bulbs took a few months. The profusion of vibrant colors stands out when seen from anywhere in the back of the apartment complex.
